We know color/density is everything to any photographer. Making sure that every photo has the right tone or shift is crucial, and here at Nations Photo Lab we are happy to offer Color Corrections to make sure every photo prints in the best possible tone.
Color Correction service includes a professional review of each individual image within your order. Our team of highly-trained color gurus will remove any differences between your personal monitor and our print monitor. To do so, they expertly review and modify the density, color tones, and saturation of each individual image contained within the order, if needed.
Have you ever watched the same movie on a bank of monitors at a store like Best Buy? The colors and brightness are always different even though it's the same movie... those same differences happen between computer monitors.
We will adjust each image to print at its best potential. (For example, the image may look great on your monitor, but when we view it on our monitors that represent our print output, we can see it seems a little dark. Therefore we would lighten it so that your print comes out looking its best!)
Please note, Color Corrections affect the image as a whole, rather than specific elements within a photo. If you are more so needing spot corrections such as teeth whitening, blemish removal, glass glare removal, skin softening, red eye removal etc., please check out our Photoshop help center article :)
We guarantee your complete 100% satisfaction for prints ordered with Color Corrections. If you are not amazed by your prints, simply let us know your concerns and we will readjust your image(s) with any additional desired edits and reprint at no cost to you!
Color Corrections do not need to be applied to an order if you or your Photographer have a calibrated monitor using a calibration software like x-rite or Spyder and used our custom ICC profiles for soft proofing.
*Please advise though, Nations Photo Lab cannot guarantee orders without Color Corrections. Orders submitted without color corrections get placed directly into production with no review to be produced as is. Therefore, they are not covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee*
Lastly, below we have included a little guide that runs through the standard Color Correction Vocabulary.
