Apple has a lot of control over the apps available for Macs, iPads, and iPhones. The available apps for these systems are available for download through the iOS App Store. However, not all apps you want may be available to download within the App Store.
If you attempted to download our ROES system to your Mac, you might have received a prompt stopping you from opening the app from an "unidentified developer." You receive this prompt due to security reasons as the ROES software is not controlled or produced by Apple. Please note this does not mean there is something wrong with the ROES app.
Below are steps on how to override macOS's security measures so you can open the blocked app:
1. Click the icon in the upper left corner of your desktop.
2. Click System Preferences.
3. Go to Security & Privacy and select the General tab.
4. This page will give you the option to override the block. Click "Open Anyway."
5. You will receive an additional prompt asking if you are sure you would like to open the app. Click "Open" to run the app!
Following these steps creates an exception for the app, so you will always be able to open it in the future without having to repeat this process.
