UPDATE 4/29/2020: We would like to thank everyone for your continued support! We have been able to connect with so many people around the country and we will continue to provide support for PPE needs so long as they are needed! Due to an increase in demand and inquiries, we have created a direct web page to access information regarding PPE and purchasing. Please click here to access that page!
Dear Valued Customers,
We are all facing obstacles that have been a result of the Coronavirus. Currently though, medical professionals are in dire need of medical supplies! As business and production needs have come to a halt across the world, we would like to use the resources we have to help in a different way! Please read a message from our President, Ryan Millman, below:
"There is a significant shortage of medical supplies including face shields. Nations Photo Lab has one of the largest fleets of CNC machines to cut plastic and an expertly trained production staff of 200+. We stand ready to assist our medical communities. If you know of any hospital systems in need of face shields please let me know. We want to help!"
Over the weekend, we received a very large amount of requests with information on different locations that are needing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like face shields. We want to be sure we can connect with all of you and see how we can work together to help! We are asking all interested parties to please visit, www.nationsphotolab.com/ppe, to fill out our request form. We will respond as soon as possible with additional specs, availability of free shields, timing, and/or pricing (if applicable).
Below are some FAQ's regarding our shields:
Why are you producing Face Shields?
Nations Photo Lab typically produces high end photo products for photographers, big box retailers, cruise lines, and more. With the recent Coronavirus pandemic however, we all have seen a shortage of medical supplies.
What is the size of the face shield?
The face shield is 9x13".
What materials are used?
We are using .03 PETG plastic, cushion foam and elastic
Are the face shields FDA approved?
The face shields are not FDA approved. However, the design and materials used have been approved by the White House Task Force. We have sourced many materials that are FDA approved.
Are your face shields being donated or sold?
Nations Photo Lab retooled our factory to donate $100,000 in face shields to the most at risk health providers. Since our announcement, the demand for this product has been overwhelming and more than we are able to donate. In order to meet that additional need, we need to charge a fee per shield (plus cost of shipment) to cover our costs and to purchase more materials to make more shields. The cost is based on volumes. Please fill out the form to obtain pricing details.
What is the turnaround time?
We are estimating being able to ship within 2-3 days of your request/payment. However, we will confirm a more specific estimated date of shipment once we speak with you. We ship everything FedEx (ground, 2-day, or Overnight).
If I am purchasing what do I do next?
Once you fill out the form, you will receive an email response. Please reply to the email with how many you would like to purchase. We will try our best to add on a donation with your purchase if inventory is still available. We will send you an e-invoice via Paypal. If paypal does not work for you please let us know. Once payment is received we will process your order and ship ASAP.
If I only want donations, what do I do next?
Once you fill out the form, you will receive an email response. Please reply to the email with the following in the body of your email, "Please send any donations you can to _________(shipping address)”, and we will let you know any availability we have, along with turnaround time.

In addition to our donation, we will also be producing the product for sale to assist with the shortage in the country. We're also looking for suppliers of UltraTuf PETG, cushion foam, and elastic, so please share with anyone who might be able to help and direct them to the link as well.
We would like to thank everyone for their support and would like to send a huge thank you to the healthcare workers who are risking so much to help us and others. Together, let's make a difference!
Yours in printing,
Nations Photo Lab
