What is Color Correction (CC), and is it optional?

CC is shorthand for Color Corrections. If you do not have a calibrated monitor or a calibration system, we highly recommend ordering with Color Corrections. Our color experts evaluate and adjust your images to correct lighting, environment, exposure, color shifts, and subject matter detail. They review each image's density, color tones, contrast, and saturation. Black and white images can also be color corrected to check for brightness, density, and contrast. We guarantee your complete 100% satisfaction with products ordered with Color Corrections. If you are not amazed by your order, let us know your concerns, and we will readjust your image(s) and reprint it at no cost to you!

Orders that do not have Color Correction applied cannot be guaranteed as the images are printed, as is, without review. 

All orders submitted through the mobile app will be color corrected. You will not be able to remove the color correction option during the ordering process unless you access your cart and order directly from www.nationsphotolab.com.

Orders that contain Framed Prints or Metal Prints (within ROES) will automatically be color corrected. You will not be able to remove the option.

Buzz Books, USBs, Photo Blankets, Christmas Stockings, Compact Mirrors, Luggage Tags, Mouse Pads, Phone Cases and accessories, Photo Coasters, Photo Mugs, Photo Pillows, Wood Photo Magnets, DVD Cases, Wood USB Boxes, Acrylic Decor, and Dog Tags cannot be color corrected at this time.

Please note, Color Corrections affect the image as a whole, rather than specific elements within a photo. If you need spot corrections such as teeth whitening, blemish removal, glass glare removal, skin softening, red-eye removal, etc., please check out our Photoshop help center article.

If you are a professional with a calibrated monitor and have calibration software like x-rite or Spyder, you have the option to soft proof your images using our ICC profiles! If you do soft proof using our ICC profiles, Color Corrections do not need to be applied to your order.
