Dear Photographers,
Thank you for trusting Nations Photo Lab with your photography needs! As you prepare to print the images from your recent photography session, we want you to review the terms and conditions on our website.
Nations Photo Lab typically does not require photo releases per our terms of service. As our customer and by doing business with us, you assert your rights to the images when you upload them to our ordering platforms. If any of your images require a photo agreement release, you must provide us with all documentation.
What is a Photo Release?
A photo release is a legal document granting a photographer permission to use photographs taken during sessions for specified purposes. Clarifying how a photographer may use the images in such releases helps protect both the subject and the photographer. A release outlines how we can use your images (e.g., in our portfolio, for promotional purposes, on our website, etc.).
It protects both parties by ensuring a mutual understanding regarding the usage of the images. It lets you control your likeness and ensures you're comfortable using the photos.
A photo release should include:
- Identifying information, which includes all party's contact and business information.
- Image description that describes the session and images covered under this agreement
- The usage rights provide a statement detailing the specific ways in which your images may be used.
- The revocation steps are instructions should you wish to revoke the release in the future.
If a Nations Photo Lab Customer Service team member asks you to provide a photo release, please email it to info@nationsphotolab.com.
Thank you once again for choosing Nations Photo Lab! Our team of photo experts looks forward to printing your beautiful images for you. If you have any questions for the Customer Support team, please contact us!
