When ordering photo prints, you can easily rotate your photo, zoom in/out, edit your crop, or change the orientation of your photo or the print template!
Something to note is that the system lists photo print sizes by width and height, which matches a portrait orientation. When creating a print order, the system will automatically set the print size to match the orientation of your photo. The orientation is not locked, however. You can manually adjust the orientation to landscape or portrait if necessary.
Hover over the thumbnail of your photo to view easily accessible options to edit your print:
- “Edit” your photo. The “pencil” icon will open a separate window containing a larger view of the photo you would like to edit, with the same editing options seen when hovering over the thumbnail.
- “Information” about your photo. The “info” icon will indicate your photo’s original pixel dimension, crop pixel dimensions, current DPI (resolution) based on the chosen crop, and the minimum recommended DPI (resolution).
- “Rotate” your photo. The “rotate” icon will rotate your photo within the print template.
- “Change the orientation” of your print template. The “change orientation” icon will change the orientation of your print template. We can produce photo prints in both landscape and portrait orientations.
- “Copy” your photo. The “copy” icon will create a separate copy of the selected print with the same specs.
- How to crop your photo print using the “Zoom in/out” function: You can “zoom in/out” of your photo by hovering over the thumbnail and using the scroll on your mouse. Then, you can click and hold down on your photo thumbnail with your mouse to pan the image around.
