Why am I being charged multiple shipping charges?
There are certain items that will ship together and certain items that will not, depending on the product being ordered, as the turnaround time and production processes vary.
If ordering via the website, the system will automatically split the items within your order depending on the items being ordered. Each item type is its own entity. Items that have similar turnaround times and similar production processes will be combined and shipped together. If the items being ordered have different turnaround times and different production processes, the items will ship separately. For example, if you order photo prints on the luster paper and photo prints on the metallic paper, you will be given two order numbers. However, as the turnaround time and production process is the same, the two orders will be combined and shipped together. If your order contains photo prints on the luster paper and a canvas gallery wrap, you will again receive two order numbers. However, as the turnaround time and production processes are different, these two items would ship separately.
The great thing is though, the web system will only factor one shipping cost regardless of the items you have in your cart, if you did not reach the minimum order total of $49. If you do reach the minimum, you would not be charged any shipping on any item. If you happen to place an order then forgot to add something and need to submit another order, we would be happy to review your shipping costs and charge accordingly. Simply send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or write a note in the special instructions section (located in the shopping cart in ROES).
Please remember however, there are three order types that do not qualify for free shipping, no matter what! This includes albums (album99 or infinity album), drop ship orders, or international orders. These three order types do have a standard ground shipping cost.
If ordering via the ROES system, you are prompted to click the catalog for the item you are wishing to purchase. If you switch catalogs, you do have to submit separate orders. This is for production purposes. Therefore, you will be charged a shipping charge for each order. We unfortunately cannot guarantee any of the items can be combined and shipped together however, we would be more than happy to 'combine' your shipping charges accordingly :) For example, if you order luster photo prints and a canvas gallery wrap, you would submit two separate orders via ROES. If you leave a note in the special instructions or email us (email@example.com) with the order numbers stating to 'combine the shipping', we will check the items you are ordering, will add the merchandise cost together, then will remove and refund your shipping charges accordingly :) Again, free shipping excludes albums, drop ship orders, and international orders.
